Awakening the Heart to Itself | Lauren Monroe

Awakening the Heart to Itself | Lauren Monroe

Sometimes we realize at a very young age that there’s something different about us. The difference doesn’t have to lead to insecurity or self-isolation. It could actually lead to something quite amazing.

Welcome to The Darin Olien Show,

This episode features my friend of 25+ years, Lauren Monroe.

Lauren is a singer/songwriter, medium, healer, and spiritual teacher. She also happens to be married to the amazing Rick Allen, the drummer for Def Leppard.

I knew there was something special about Lauren when I first met her. You know that strange pull you sometimes feel towards a stranger? Like there’s something spiritual and almost cosmic about your encounter? That’s what I felt when I met Lauren. And, she’s proven to be one of the most unique people I’ve ever known.

Lauren has felt a connection to what she calls ‘Divine Energy’ since she was a little girl growing up in Queens. Her paranormal experiences and unusual gifts set her on a path of discovery. One that she is still following today.

She’s traveled the world learning from spiritual teachers and gurus, and channels everything she learns into her work and her music. Lauren co-founded, along with her husband, the Raven Drum Foundation and the Project Resiliency’s Warrior Resiliency Program which serves, educates and empowers veterans and people in crisis.

Lauren and I had a deep conversation about her journey to discover more about her inner gifts and everything that’s come with them. We touch on how she discovered her talent for healing with massage therapy and bodywork and her passion for energy work. She gushes about her passion for music and how excited she is for the release of her EP, Big Love.

In This Convo:
  • The story of Lauren’s first vision
  • Lauren’s strong faith and what it means to her
  • Why it’s ok to go searching for answers if you’re not getting them from home
  • What indigenous people taught her about self-protection
  • The power of long-distance healing
  • The special frequency of Lauren’s music
  • The power of Grace
  • This week’s Fatal Convenience™: Laundry Detergent

I enjoyed this segment and can relate to the topic of spiritual connection. Brings back good memories and events from my younger years that offered positive direction in my life when I needed it. Changes that I did not realize I needed at times.
    I say thank you

PS: I enjoyed listening to Lauren Monroe music and chants.
