Dirty Air Filters | Fatal Conveniences™

Who doesn’t love a breath of fresh air? Especially if it’s clean air purified from dust, pet dander, and other microparticles. Air purifiers are extremely popular nowadays– which is a good thing. Because recent studies from the EPA show that indoor air quality can be up to five times worse than outdoor air. But owning and using an air purifier comes with some responsibility. It’s crucial to maintain your machine– which includes changing the filter regularly.

WELCOME TO Fatal Conveniences™.

I use an air purifier, and I always recommend them to my family and friends. But owning and using an air purifier comes with some responsibility. It’s crucial to maintain your machine– which includes changing the filter before it gets clogged with nasty stuff.

When you neglect to change your filters, the air you’re breathing could end up being dirtier than if you had no purifier at all. Dirty air filters get clogged with dirt, dust, allergens, and even bacteria. Breathing in air that passes through a dirty air filter can negatively affect your lungs, your throat, your eyes, and overall, your health. And if you have asthma or other respiratory issues, it’s even more crucial to change your air filters on time.

When Should You Change Your Air Filter?

In this episode, I’ll tell you when and how often you should change your air filter. We’ll go over what you could be breathing in if you neglect to chair your air filters. And we’ll get into the not-so-fun side effects of using dirty air filters in your home. Listen guys, if you use an air purifier, change the filters. It’s as simple as that.
