She earned her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (now known as Sonoran University of Health Sciences) and her Masters of Science in Acupuncture from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Arizona.
