The 1-Step Fix For Water Quality Problems

The 1-Step Fix For Water Quality Problems

I’d love to tell you that water is water is water. I would if I could, but sadly water’s quality is not all the same!

Drinking just any kind of water day in and day out won’t enable the hydration and detoxification potential you’re hoping to achieve for optimal health. Water’s quality plays a huge role in how you feel.

Quality water is the most obvious, yet elusive element to good health.

Yet research suggests that up to 75 percent of Americans are walking around in a chronic state of dehydration!

What a sluggish, low-energy place to live!

No thanks. If you’ve spent any time around me or heard me speak, you know that I refuse to be held back by my body.

And a healthy body starts with DRINKING CLEAN, QUALITY WATER.

Water, the way it’s meant to be, comes filtered from the earth, vortated through the natural soil, rocks and pebbles and is then made accessible to us in it purest form.

I know it’s nearly impossible for 99.99% of us to gain access to a pure, fresh water spring on a daily basis, or even once in our lifetime for that matter. But, I’m telling you this because it truly is the purest form of water there is.

Unfortunately, the world isn’t set up in a way.

WATER QUALITY PROBLEMS

Each and every one of us doesn’t have access to a fresh water spring in our backyard! (Wouldn’t that be awesome!)

Instead, we have water quality problems. All of our public tap water has been run through water treatment plants, in large polluted cities, contaminated with prescription medications and not to mention household and industrial chemicals that have been flushed down our sinks, toilets, and shower drains, and more.

The water we drink from most taps is a “tea” of a long list of chemicals and debris.

Even bottled water is not clear of this debris. Plastic bottles ADD more chemicals, introducing plastic chemicals that “leach” aka leak from the bottle during storage. So the best way for large populations of people to drink clean and pure water is to first clear the water of the debris that has been added to it.

THE SIMPLEST FIX FOR WATER QUALITY PROBLEMS

There is a simple, 1-step “fix” for water quality problems that is achievable by everyone.

Switch to RO (reverse osmosis) or distilled water.

I recommend these because both these types of water are like a perfect, blank canvas, in which all of the little, invisible particles have been removed.

We can then utilize this  blank canvas as the starting point to then reintroduce the proper balance of minerals and electrolytes for properly cleansing and hydrating our body’s membranes and cells.

Distilled water has a bad reputation depending on whom you speak to, because electrolytes are removed through the reverse osmosis or distilling process.  This leads people to believe that drinking water without electrolytes will in turn pull electrolytes from your cells in order to balance the concentrations within your body.

This is true only if you don’t add the necessary electrolytes back to the distilled water before drinking it.

Electrolytes are the foundational and functional components of the body down to the cellular level, and they must be present to create electrical potential amongst your cells as well as ensure that water is accessible for your cells.

So, you always want to be sure that your water is balanced with the right electrolytes and free of all other unnecessary additives and foreign particles.

Water Ratios for RO or Distilled Water and Himalayan Crystal Salt

It sounds simple, but it works! You take a big, immediate step to fixing water quality problems when you use distilled water or RO water and add a pinch of unrefined Himalayan or Celtic sea salt to it before drinking.

You get the proper electrolytes necessary for optimal hydration without any of the tap water “tea.”

Your body will thank you.

    Hi Darin,

I heard your podcast w Rich Roll and totally dug it. I’m reading your book now. I have some water issues at my home and RO has been the recommendation. My question is: what is the carbon footprint of Himalayan rock salt and how sustainable is it for all of us to be using? Are you aware of any other options that might be less dependent on globalized supply? Thanks for sharing the fullness of yourself with the world – it is awesome!!
