Spirituality With Purpose | Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith

Spirituality With Purpose | Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith

Spirituality doesn’t have to be this allusive thing, only meant for certain people. In fact, getting in touch with your spirituality– whatever that means for you– could help fuel a purpose in your life.

WELCOME TO THE DARIN OLIEN SHOW

Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith takes the practical approach with spirituality.

As the founder and CEO of the Agape International Spiritual Center, Michael helps others find their spirituality. Founded in 1986, Agape is a trans-denominational community in Los Angeles, comprising thousands of local members, and millions of global live streamers. The community is highly regarded for its cultural, racial, and spiritual diversity. Its local community outreach programs feed people experiencing homelessness, serve incarcerated individuals, partner with community service organizations active in children’s schools and youth homes, support the arts, and advocate for the preservation of our planet’s environmental resources.

Dr. Beckwith is a sought-after meditation teacher, conference speaker, and seminar leader. He’s widely recognized for his teachings on the science of inner transformation and unity. Unlike other spiritual leaders, Dr. Beckwith embraces a practical approach to spirituality utilizing meditation, affirmative prayer, and Life VisioningTM. This spiritual technology he developed for conscious evolution, authentic living, and living your life purpose. These practices teach us to take the experience of inner peace and awakened awareness into our everyday lives, helping to birth a kind and just global society.

I was so excited to reconnect with Michael.

Our paths crossed long ago, but he has always been a beacon of spirituality and purpose to me. So many people are turned off by the idea of spirituality or tend to equate it with religion in their minds. The truth is that being spiritual just means that you are constantly seeking a higher connection with yourself and your purpose. And, of course, a healthy mind, body, and spirit are essential for peak spirituality.

In this episode, the Reverend and I discuss the importance of fueling your body with clean, whole foods in order to tap into your spiritual potential. But there’s no need to obsess about your diet! We talk about the misconceptions and stigmas surrounding spirituality. And we get into all the ways you can amp up that part of yourself, and connect to the parts of spirituality that resonate with you. Your spirituality doesn’t have to look like my spirituality, or your friend’s, or your family’s. A person’s spirituality is a personal journey. And there’s no timeline or checklist, you discover it for yourself as you go.

Hey! Thanks for the amazing episode!
I do have a question. Where can I find how to buy/build a tesla coil for outage scenarios?

    Thanks!
